a.
Receive and sort dirty linens.
b.
Pre-soak stained linen.
c.
Set aside unusable linen in the appropriate discard area.
d.
Load washers according to the instructions.
Know load limits.
Prepare proper concentration of cleaning chemical.
e.
Dry, fold and store linen in appropriate location.
f.
Clean lint filters in dryers daily.
g.
Clean behind and above dryers on a weekly basis.
h.
Keep laundry room clean.
Mop floor as necessary.
i.
Follow proper OSHA/HAZCOM procedures.
j.
Never allow linen to sit on floor.
k.
Bring any equipment problems to the attention of the Director of Housekeeping.
l.
Other duties as assigned.
